The Embassy of the Republic of Turkiye in collaboration with Yunus Emre Institute Brunei (YEE-Brunei) and Dicle University welcome the public to visit the art exhibition titled “Resistance: Respect for the Collective Conscience" by Turkiye artist and scholar, Assistant Professor Doctor Hamide Vural. The exhibition brings together artworks that touch on themes of memory, migration, war and human resilience, using symbolism to provide visitors with a deeper experience of universal human values. The exhibition is open until 5th December from 10 in the morning to 6 in the afternoon at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkiye, Kampung Manggis Satu.
Blending modern and traditional printmaking techniques, the exhibition aims to open a space for the public to examine humanitarian issues through an artistic perspective. Special emphasis is also given to the Palestinian issue, with the hope of encouraging reflection, empathy and dialogue, while strengthening cultural ties between Türkiye and Brunei Darussalam.
